At Sisters Network Reading, we know that a breast cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming, isolating, and life-changing. That’s why our mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure that no woman walks this journey alone.

Why Our Work Matters

African American women are often diagnosed at later stages of breast cancer and face higher mortality rates. Sisters Network is here to change that narrative by offering education, outreach, and support that empower women to take charge of their health.

How We Make an Impact

  • Awareness & Education – We host events and programs that share vital information about breast cancer prevention, detection, and survivorship.
  • Support for Survivors – From connecting survivors with resources to creating safe spaces to share stories, we ensure women feel seen and supported.
  • Community Engagement – Through partnerships with local organizations and leaders, we’re building a stronger, healthier community together.

Join Us in the Movement

Every voice, every story, and every show of support makes a difference. Whether you’re a survivor, caregiver, advocate, or ally, you have a place in Sisters Network Reading.

Together, we honor the strength of survivors, support those currently in treatment, and remember those we’ve lost. Most importantly, we continue to move forward with hope, unity, and purpose.
